Learning Targets: Students will self-monitor and identify when they need support, and how they can get unstuck (who to go to, what to do, etc.) for SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL NEEDS

Success Criteria: Participants will journal about what they explored, and take an ungraded quiz about Your School’s support systems

8:15-8:45 Attendance, Review Social Contract, "Screaming Eyes" energizer

8:30-9:30 Dyadic Encounter, Fears & questions snowball fight (small groups)

9:30-9:55 Cornell Notes on School Supports (whole class)

9:55-10:05 Tech break, bathroom break

10:05- 10:30  "Melt the snowballs"-- place questions in Costa's House

10:30-11:20 Independent Reading

11:20-11:35 Lunch

11:40-12:30 "Mine field" challenge & debrief

12:30-1:20 Spider Web of connections

1:20: Exit ticket
