[MODULE 1] Summary

Now that you've read and reviewed the materials in MODULE 1, remember the following take-aways: 

When it comes to creating or accessing your course shells...

  • Teachers can create their own course shells (provided this function is enabled by their admins).
  • Teachers can access their course shells from the "Courses" menu in the dashboard (provided they are enrolled as the 'teacher')

 To import existing content into your course:

  • Use the Files tab
  • Import Google Drive materials into any page with the text editor option.

If you want to create new content...

  • Use the Pages tool to add new content, link to course files and resources.
  • Use the Rich Content Editor (RCE) when editing a page to make content rich and dynamic (text, pics, videos, oh my!)

And if you want to post your course syllabus, you can either...

  • Add the syllabus document to files
  • Create syllabus content on a page (by cut/pasting from a word doc or linking to syllabus document in files)
  • Use the Syllabus Tool (to do any or all of the two options above)
